1. Premise

Pursuant to Article 13 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/03, i.e. the Personal Data Protection Code (hereinafter the “Privacy Code”), Maison Pierrot, the Data Controller, is obliged to inform users about the handling of their personal data.

2. Personal Information Collection

When filling in the Contact Form, the user will be asked to provide certain personally identifiable information that we will collect and store.

3. Purpose
The personal data of the user shall be processed for the following purposes:
1. allow us to respond to any requests sent via the Contact Form
2. allow us to send commercial communications or news about special offers.
The data provided may be used for technical checks to guarantee the efficiency of the service provided.

4. Data Processing
The user’s data is processed manually or in an automated manner by means of IT and telematic tools designed for the organisation and processing of data for the abovementioned purposes and in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of all data and communications.
Once the aforementioned purposes have been met, the data shall be deleted or rendered anonymous.

5. Compulsory or Optional Provision of Data
The provision of personal data by the user is optional. However, if the user chooses not to disclose any personal data, then messages cannot be sent via the Contact Form and Maison Pierrot cannot reply.

6. Scope of Communication and Dissemination
The owners of Maison Pierrot shall be responsible for data processing and shall have access to the user’s personal data.

Under Comma 3 of this Policy, “Purpose”, the personal data of users shall also be provided to third party service providers that have already been designated Data Processors and that offer the same level of data protection. 

7. Rights of Data Subjects

According to Art. 7 of the “Privacy Code”, the user, or data subject, has the right to exercise the following rights:

1. Receive confirmation of the existence or otherwise of his personal data, even if they have not yet been registered, as well as information regarding their processing.

2. The data subject has the right to know:

• the source of the data;

• the purpose and means of the data processing;

• the logic of the data processing, where electronic devices are used;

• the names of the data controllers and processors and any representatives thereof, pursuant to Art. 5(2);

• the subjects or categories to whom the data can be communicated, or the State-appointed representatives, managers or agents who acquire the data.

3. The data subject has the right to:

• update, rectify or, if required, integrate the collected data;

• cancel, render anonymous or block any data processed in violation of the law, including the data that do not need to be stored for the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed;

• verify that the operations (and contents) referred to in the preceding points have been brought to the attention of those to whom such data have been communicated or disseminated, except where this is impossible or involves the use of means manifestly disproportionate to the right protected.

4. The data subject also has the right to oppose, in full or in part:

• for legitimate reasons, the processing of any personal data that are still relevant;

• the processing of any personal data for the purpose of sending advertising material, or of direct selling, market research or business communication.

8. Data Controller

The physical person responsible for data processing is Sara Guichardaz, resident in Via dr. Grappein, 11012, Cogne (AO), Italy.
Sara Guichardaz is also liable where users choose to exercise the aforementioned rights.
